As for Voracius' passive, it's a bit weird: first you compute your max hp, then take 1% of that (rounded), add it to your base attack (22 for voracius), and treat this as your new base attack in the above formula. My best advice is don't overlevel spells/items (basically stop at level like 5 imo) and don't be afraid to try all the classes each one is different enough theres at least one you fall in love with..
